It features a dual obstacle avoidance system that uses ultrasonic and LiDAR technologies for safe navigation in complex environments. The device also includes voice interaction for easy communication and commands. Enhanced navigation is provided through GPS and object recognition technologies, ensuring a precise and user-friendly travel experience. Additionally, it offers reading assistance through text OCR functionality, which converts visual information into accessible formats.
Planned for release in the third year, will upgrade these features. V2 aims to include traffic data, mapping information, an improved voice interaction system, and additional life-assisting functionalities like voice-assisted shopping, medication reminders, indoor navigation, and health management.
Learn MoreThe dual obstacle detection system is the cornerstone of Senbot's navigational prowess. It employs a sophisticated blend of ultrasonic and LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technologies to create a comprehensive sensory network. This system enables Senbot to detect and navigate around physical obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. Ultrasonic sensors emit sound waves that reflect off surfaces to gauge distance, while LiDAR uses light pulses to create a detailed 3D map of the environment. Together, they form a robust detection matrix that ensures safety and smooth transit for the visually impaired users.
Senbot's navigation system integrates object recognition and obstacle avoidance modules to effectively identify and circumvent obstacles on the road, seamlessly combined with mature GPS pedestrian navigation technology for precise guidance.
In our initial release, the voice recognition feature of Senbot extracts target information from user speech, triggering corresponding functionalities upon detecting key words and phrases. It then provides succinct textual responses to interact with the user and confirm successful command execution. Future iterations will incorporate an AI voice assistant to diversify and enhance the practicality of our voice interactions.
